Trevor Jacques is a consultant for rapidly-deployed web-based surveys and has just completed a very successful project for the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, Maryland. Mr. Jacques is also best-selling Canadian author of sex-education material and international directories. He is the principal co-author and editor of On The Safe Edge: A Manual for SM Play, a safer-sex education manual that became a best-seller in its first year of publication. On The Safe Edge is now in its fifth printing. Mr. Jacques has edited and published Canada’s Gay Guide, Canada’s most comprehensive directory of resources for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and trans-identified people since early 1997. He has been involved with the Toronto Gay Pride events for several years, producing the 1996 and 1997 event programmes, the Pride Guide, and sponsoring Pride from 1996 to 1999. A physicist, his initial career was in seismology, systems analysis, and database consultancy. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer on radio and television on topics relating to alternate sexual expression.
Mr. Jacques is currently pursuing a doctorate.
